🌅 LONGER DAYS, LONGER HOURS AT GILBERT’S 🌅

As we head into half term and the evenings (hopefully!) start stretching out a little, we’re extending our opening hours 🙌

No big song and dance — just a bit more time by the water.

Now all we need is for the rain to politely jog on.
We live in hope 🤞🌦️

Food still stops half an hour before closing.

Thanks to today’s beautiful weather warning and the arrival of Storm Goretti, we’re calling it a day at 1:30 pm before we all take off down the estuary 💨😂

But all is not lost… ☕✨

We shall return tomorrow from 9:30 am, armed with hot coffee, proper breakfasts and strong opinions about the weather 🌞🥓

And just like that… 2025 is done and dusted 🌅

What a year down at Gilbert’s — “just popping in” that turned into hours, coffees that mysteriously became pints, and sunsets that absolutely refused to be rushed 🍻

Huge thank you to everyone who braved the wind, chased the sun, squeezed round the tables, brought the dogs, the kids, the mates and the “we’ll only stay for one” energy (liars… we love you 😄). You lot are what make this place what it is 💛

We’re saying goodbye to 2025 with salty air, fairy lights, empty glasses and full hearts — and heading into 2026 ready for more good food, good drinks and even better sunsetd by the water.
