Set within the 1906 Victorian Stables at Borde Hill, Isca is our new glasshouse restaurant that brings the bounty of the garden to the plate.

Everything we do is rooted in the Sussex terroir and inspired by our surroundings. Open Wednesday to Sunday.

Some flavours are worth preserving.

Our Blythburgh Farm pork is served with quince, harvested from the Walled Garden last summer and carefully preserved to capture its delicate sweetness. Finished with Pommery mustard and green beans - it’s a taste of the estate, carried from one season to the next.

Our Walled Garden is now open for Golden Hour drinks and nibbles from 5pm, inviting you to linger amongst the beauty of the edimental planting. Expect thoughtfully crafted cocktails, including our Magnolia Margarita, alongside a selection of bar snacks in a beautiful setting,

One month ago, we welcomed our first guests to Isca.

Since then, we’ve shared memorable evenings around the table, celebrated the first harvests from the Walled Garden, and watched the season unfold across the estate.

To everyone who has joined us for a leisurely lunch or dinner beneath the evening light, thank you from our passionate team. Your support, kind words and enthusiasm have made our first month truly special.

Quench your thirst with an Isca 65 - our unique take on the classic French 75 cocktail - made with hand-foraged lilac from the estate, with a nod to our Garden Charity which was established in 1965.

Inspired by the gardens in full bloom, it offers delicate floral aromas, bright citrus notes and a lively, refreshing finish.

The arrival of the Summer Solstice invites us to linger a little longer.

As golden light moves across the garden and evening settles over the terrace, we celebrate the abundance of the season — roses gathered by hand, ingredients harvested at their peak, and moments shared around the table.

Extending our garden-led philosophy to the whole family, Isca Kids Club offers parents the opportunity to enjoy a relaxed, unhurried lunch while children play just moments away in our on-site Forest School, Treehoppers.

Hosted on the first Saturday of each month from June to September.
