😔 Well, we hate to say it, but unfortunately we will not be open for pick your own strawberries this weekend😔

The season was an early one due to the weather, and the fruit has endured oven-like temperatures…

So, no fruit available to pick this weekend 👎🏼

☀️ Due to the hot weather today, we have made the decision to close a little earlier than usual to look after both our team and visitors.

We will be closing at 3:00pm today, with last food orders at 2:30pm.

Open today for PYO soft fruit.

Strawberries - still available
Gooseberries - still available
Raspberries - harder to find due to extreme heat last week.

Restaurant and tea room open for breakfast, light bites, main meals, cake and scooping ice cream.

Relax on the terrace with a beer, cocktail or soft drink and take in the fantastic views.

Pygmy goats, alpacas and donkeys can be seen.

Children's play area.

FREE parking.

Great to catch up with Richard Drakeley from the National Forest yesterday, who dropped in to present us with a Transformative Tourism Champion award 🌱

We’re proud to be recognised as one of a small number of National Forest Transformative Tourism Champions, aligned with the Restore and Protect Nature pathway in the Forest’s new Transformative Tourism Framework. It reflects the work we’ve been doing here at Cattows Farm to create new woodland, integrate it into the visitor experience, and support nature recovery.

We’ve always believed that farming, nature recovery and welcoming people onto the land can go hand in hand, so it’s fantastic to see this approach recognised alongside other businesses across the Forest.

A big thank you to everyone who has supported what we do.
