INTERESTED IN JOINING CROWS?
We are looking to recruit some new volunteers to join our teams.
No special experience or skills are required, but it helps if you enjoy working outside and are not averse to a bit of mud. You will learn the art of ditch digging, stile and step building and cutting back vegetation and will meet many friendly like-minded people.
Most volunteers come out once a week (we have work parties on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays), choosing their preferred days and locations. We work out of a depot in Mytholmroyd and smaller stores in Ripponden and Todmorden.
We are a mixed group of men and women and, to keep the balance, we are currently particularly interested in recruiting more women volunteers at this time (men are very welcome to apply too!).
It takes a while to train people up, so there may be a delay getting some people started, but we will stay in touch.
