It’s taken forever… but I’ve finally got my Street Trading Licence! 🎉🙌

I know there have been lots of questions about what’s needed to run a cake shed, so I thought I’d share that everything is now officially in place.

✅ Street Trading Licence
✅ Public Liability Insurance
✅ Food Hygiene Rating ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
✅ Food Hygiene & Allergen Training
✅ Registered Food Business
✅ Full ingredient & allergen labels on every product

It’s been a long process, but it gives both me and my customers complete peace of mind knowing everything is done properly and to the correct standards.

For me, it’s important that you know exactly what you’re buying, with full ingredient information available on every item.

Now it’s time to get planning next week’s shed… and it’s going to be a good one! 😍

I never thought I’d say this… but I actually miss the chaos! 🤣

Usually I’m running myself ragged every week baking for the shed, covered in flour, surrounded by trays and wondering how I’m going to fit everything in. This weekend (and next weekend) I’ve had a break… and I’ve realised just how much I love it.

So here I am on holiday, already planning the menu for when we’re back! 😅

📅 Friday 31st July is the return of the shed, and we’ll be launching our brand new thick milkshakes! 🥤😍

There’ll definitely be:
🍰 Cheesecake
🌸 Rhubarb & Custard Cake (I’ve been craving making this one!)

But what else would you love to see in the shed? Brownies? Cookie pies? School cake? Old favourites? Or something new?

Just a little reminder that the shed will be closed this weekend and next weekend while we’re away on holiday. ☀️
