Congratulations to Balls in Hand who won the Plate in a tightly fought game against Pint in Hand tonight.

Rugby not for you... Take a walk up to Henstridge Recreation Ground and enjoy the charity cricket match being played from 12pm where Henstridge Cricket Club played its first match nearly 153 years ago to the day (5th July 1873).. then finish off with a cash only BBQ back here at The Bird In Hand from from 4pm with Chef Pete cooking up a storm. Saturday fixed for all the family!!!

⚽ England v DR Congo – Wednesday at The Bird in Hand, Henstridge 4:30pm for the 5:00pm kick off ⚽

The players will have hydration breaks... and so will we. 🍻
Bring the kids (might be the only early game where you can and there will be free flag face painting and hot dogs available to buy for their tea!), cheer on Harry Kane, enjoy the atmosphere, and let's hope England gives us plenty to celebrate! 🏆🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🌭🍺
