Job Details

* Duration: Full-time, temporary (June – end of September)
* Pay Rate: Competitive hourly wage (based on experience)

🎯 Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and execute menu items to high standards.
* Manage high-volume orders efficiently under pressure.
* Maintain strict kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
* Monitor stock levels and minimize food waste.
* Collaborate smoothly with front-of-house staff.

What We Are Looking For
* Minimum 1–2 years of professional kitchen experience.
* Strong knowledge of food safety regulations.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
* Positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills.
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

We are Looking for a full time member of staff to join our lovely front of house team. The successful candidate will be someone who can work as part of a team but also lead a busy front of house dinner service. They will need to have great communication and customer service skills, effectively communicating between chefs, bar tenders and other front of house members. They will need to process food and drink orders efficiently by tills and ipads, be able to learn all aspects of front of house responsibilities including the bar and ensuring thorough cleaning and sanitising is carried out.

We would like to say a massive thank you to Dan at Jays Aim, today he provided our team with valuable defibrillator training. Alongside this vital training we at The Rydon Inn have fully funded a defibrillator provided by Jays Aim that will be accessible to anyone in need.

The defibrillator is located at our front entrance to the right hand side of the front door, this is also registered with the emergency services.
