Merrie England Coffee Shops We are a traditional style coffee shop. We have been serving the community for over 40 years with the finest coffees, quality sandwiches and homemade cakes

Our aim is to provide our customers with quality food and drink in a warm and friendly traditional setting. Each shop serves, not only the best freshly ground espresso coffee, but also sandwiches made from quality fresh ingredients, prepared daily at each premises. At Merrie England the motto is ‘fresh is best’ so along with our daily prepared sandwiches our own bakery provides each coffee shop wi

th a range of cakes and our famous apple pie, along with the scones and tarts which are baked fresh each morning. Our famous apple can be purchased whole from any of the Merrie England coffee shops or from our Delicatessen where you can also buy our home cooked Roast Beef sliced, ready to take home.

Oliver, from our Oakes Shop recently completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge
Taking on one of the toughest walks in the UK.

Even more incredible... They raised (so far) over £5,844.20 + £1,341.50 Gift Aid for Yorkshire Cancer Research. We’re so proud to have people like this in our team, and a big thank you to everyone who supported along the way.
