We sell a wide range of fruits and vegetables, dairy products and have a well-stocked butchery and deli counter! With our herd of around 50 Hereford cattle, around 50-60 sheep and free-range turkeys. All of our beef cattle are born on the farm and have lived a happy relaxed and healthy life at Oakfield Farm, as have our home reared lambs. Our turkeys arrive at day-old chicks and live a happy life

as free-range turkeys. We sell a wide range of fruits and vegetables, dairy products and have a well-stocked deli counter! This energy-efficient building that houses our farm shop and restaurant has been partially funded by EAFRD

Back breaking work Vs tractors doing the work.

The day Andrew sold the small baler and swapped to baling big square bales that can be stacked with a tractor, he won a gold star from us.

As Andrew and Karen's daughters, moving little bales was one of the worst jobs. Just another one of those farm jobs that needed to be done... but we spent time together... laughing, shouting at eachother, falling out, pushing eachother over on the top of the wobbly trailers, then walking home with tired hands and backs before the occasional treat of a lemonade or a very weak shandy.

We loved our days on the farm, we still do, but moving little bales.. no, we don't miss that.
