Come and join us for a cup of tea served in vintage china, with a slice of one of our homemade cakes. "Posh Sardine" is our vintage tearoom and gift shop on the prom at Arnside. We are now serving full afternoon tea from 2pm (booking essential £14.95 per adult). If you love vintage, we have a growing collection of fine china, collectables, handbags and much more! We have premises now! We are the Posh Sardine on the promenade at Arnside. Beautiful vintage tearoom and gift shop. We will be serving afternoon tea on tiered cake stands very soon. Pop over to see us (10.30-4.30 but closed Wednesdays) and have a look (and like 😁😂😉) our page Posh Sardine.

Saying a huge thank you to the very lovely Jane and Steven Caldwell, the previous owners of the Posh Sardine. They are going to be a hard act to follow for us and we have become great friends.
Yes this our new place and we had to have a little toast with something bubbly to celebrate- and in vintage china teacups...obviously!
We are open 10 till 5 (or 5.30!) 6 days a week and closed on Wednesdays. Light lunches, (gluten free, vegan and dairy free) homemade cakes, amazing ice-cream and a fabulous range of gifts. Pop in to see us and Ken's flat white coffees are sooooo good, you'll have to try one!

Well I said I'd share more information when I could about the premises we have found. Here's a clue for you- "we do like to be beside the seaside, by the sea!"

Feeling super excited. We have found premises that we love and hope to be opening soon! I won't say anymore as I don't want to jinx it, but keep watching this space for more news.

First attempt at cake pops....vanilla and chocolate. Did these awhile ago, back in April I think. They all went VERY quickly!👍❤😀

On our way to Holker Hall's Spring Fair and what a beautiful day!! We have cakes galore and will be using vintage china to serve tea and coffee. Come along and join the fun...there will be food and craft stalls, street entertainment all set in the beautiful surroundings of The Holker Estate c
