Based at 22 Oaktree Crescent, Cockermouth, I stock my Cake Shed (an honesty shop on my driveway), supply local shops and make whole cakes for birthdays etc.

This weekend will be our LAST WEEKEND of Little Chamonix Cafe! Please pop down one last time to grab a coffee & something to eat…and to say ‘ta ta for now’.

Likely to be a simple menu as I am using up current stock. But there will be mountains of cakes & scones and plenty of homemade soup.

Although I am super excited for ‘the next chapter’ (sorry for the cliche) I am REALLY sad to be leaving the Cham, after 8.5 wonderful years! I have so much to be proud of and thankful for, including the best staff 💓

Working with my lovely mum has been a special honour and I will really miss that, but damn has she earned her retirement 🤣 🏆

The cafe itself will enjoy a lick of paint & be back open- still as a cafe, and still with some of my amazing weekend staff, very soon- I wish the new owners all the very best in their new venture 🥳

Congratulations to the gorgeous (Yes! Ali worked at the cafe pre-Covid!) and her Turkish Delight , Latif, who married at just before Christmas. It was a pleasure to make your cake and also to help eat it! It was a beautiful wedding.
They had chocolate fudge cake and lemon & passionfruit 😍 nom nom!
