With a few new followers, thank you 🙏, we thought we’d say hello. This will be our 4th year as organisers of the Keswick Half Marathon and race day is fast approaching - 84 days to be precise.

Whilst we may take the helm, the event doesn’t happen without an army of volunteers from Keswick Rugby Club - more about these heroes later - the support of local businesses, many Keswick locals and visitors, and of course all of you who take part on the day. 🏃🏃🏽‍♀️

Organised by Keswick Rugby Club to raise money to help operate a successful grassroots rugby programme across all age groups, it’s a special event to be part of.

Thank to every one of you who’s entered so far. If you’ve not yet done so, or if you’re unsure - just do it - how proud you’ll be for taking part in arguably the most scenic half marathon in the country. 🙌

Very limited parking at Rugby Club from today into Sunday.
Keswick Mountain Festival have taken the large overspill for event parking.
Back to usual on Monday hopefully,

🚗CAR PARK CLOSURES🚗

From Thursday to Sunday this week Keswick Mountain Festival have exclusive use of our pitchside carpark
All car park bookings need to be made via the Keswick Mountain Festival website

The front clubhouse car park will remain open at a first come, first serve basis on Thursday to Saturday
However, this car park will also be closed to the general public on Sunday 17th May

Spaces today at Keswick Rugby Club car park when all other central car parks were rammed (and over twice the price)….
All day parking for £5 and 15% off the launches.
Best parking and best way to get about Derwent Water.

Keswick and the Derwent Valley is getting busier all the time.
This imitative reduces traffic and combines cheap parking and a 15% discount off the launches on Derwent Water.
A great way to get about - especially to Cat Bells.
The Rugby Club has parking for around 200 vehicles and is 20 minutes easy walk over glorious Crow Park to the boat landings,
The Club also has a great bar and the best terrace in Keswick!
You can also just park there for the town…
