When you’re running a business or if you’re thinking about starting one up? Bear in mind the “oh that’s expensive” you sometimes hear.

Every time you do, you think about leaning forward and slapping the living s**t out the bu**er. But, you don’t. You smile and some apologise. I don’t, because I know they won’t be back. Yippee. The costs of running this place, you would not believe!?

Unusual request perhaps?

I’m looking for someone that will look after my fish tank please. Once a month. Full maintenance. Cleaning and any equipment sorting etc.

I had someone but sadly they’re no longer able to help. Perhaps you have a son or daughter that’s got their own, or some experience in an aquatic centre and would like to earn some money?

Well, we’re hosting a BBQ this evening at the tea room and so as per, knocking out this s**te.

If you’d like to host your own parties here with us, just shout. Can’t guarantee the food will be any good but it will be served on crockery.

Despite a busy one yesterday we still managed to send out Buddha’s for twelve to a house locally, a lunch for thirty at the club, a pre wedding bbq, and platters for a hen weekend in Bewdley.

Tonight we’ve got an engagement party, a breakfast for fifty tomorrow morning and I think an event every day/evening next week.

We’re happy to talk to you about anything you’re planning, so just shout and we can share some ideas.

Note of thanks to those recommending us to others for catering. We’re possibly busier than we’ve ever been and taking almost daily enquiries, with many booking us to fulfil the work.

We’re not the cheapest. But, where we sit in the market and those we appeal to? I think we pitch it just right and seem to make people very happy. It doesn’t have to be a cast of hundreds. I’ll look after as few as 12 and very happy to work to your budget. But, understand as in all things, food is now very expensive and consider when deciding on cost what goes in to it all. You may think “gosh that’s a lot for a sandwich” our costs go way beyond just the sarnie. It’s mind blowing.

Anyway, we’re doing well and we’re all extremely grateful. Thank you.
