Can you believe that next weekend The Church Restaurant turns one !? 🎂 🎉

It’s been a crazy first year, we have definitely been on a journey of learning and development but it has been such a lot of fun too!

When we took on this project, I thought how hard can it be ? Build a nice place , employ nice people , serve nice food and retire to the Maldives…. Turns out it’s extremely hard, the effort that goes in to running a restaurant like this is huge and I want to thank all of the staff who have contributed to our success , they work so hard and we are very proud of them all ❤️

To celebrate our birthday next Sunday 2nd August we have our good friends the amazing Sunset Levels playing on our patio. We gather from 2pm ish and we are also joined by the ever popular serving their fusion pizzas 🍕.

Is that all? …… NO ! The Restaurant is open for business as usual and as another treat for you we have the awesome Grace Summers playing the baby grand piano and bring her beautiful vocals to the party.

So, Please come and join us for what will be a lovely day spent in the company of lovely people ❤️.

This year we're proud to be a part of The 'Get Your Kicks' Festival, raising money for a local charity, H E L P - Supporting People In Need , who do fantastic work within the local community supporting the vulnerable and homeless.

Earlier this year, The Church was honoured to receive the No Barriers Award, recognising our commitment to making our restaurant welcoming and accessible for everyone ❤️

We wanted to build accessibility into every part of The Church, allowing everyone to enjoy these beautiful buildings, our gorgeous food, the entertainment and, of course, our hospitality so receiving this meant a lot!
