There’s been a lot in the news recently about farmers receiving notice that their milk contracts are coming to an end — and it’s a stark reminder of just how uncertain farming can be.

It’s also a reminder, for us, of just how important local really is.

At Humeston Byre, we feel incredibly fortunate to work with a network of local businesses who use our milk in their own way — from coffees to bakes and beyond.

It’s more than just supply — it’s partnership, trust, and supporting each other through the ups and downs.

Local supporting local isn’t just a phrase — it’s what keeps communities like ours going 🌾
