Well… someone had to make sure they were edible. 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

This morning’s job is 150 cookies for a corporate order, and somewhere between tray number 4 and tray number 5 one of them mysteriously ended up becoming my breakfast. 🤭

Fresh out of the oven, warm, gooey and packed with three kinds of chocolate…

I regret absolutely nothing. 😌🍪

Well… judging by my inbox, quite a few of you did 😂

So whilst I figure out making the driveway pop-up a monthly thing (watch this space 👀), I’m opening orders for this weekend for those of you who missed out… or those of you who just want more. No judgement here 🤭

Small businesses like mine only exist because of the incredible people who choose to shop local, recommend us to their friends, share our posts, leave reviews and comments, and cheer us on along the way 🥹🙌

So every now and then I’d love to share one of the lovely messages that lands in my inbox, because they genuinely remind me why I started this little business in the first place 🤍

I genuinely don’t know where to start, but mainly I just want to say THANK YOU 🥹♥️

A little idea that came from me daydreaming about owning a food van one day somehow turned into one of the loveliest days I’ve had in a long time.

From my amazing regular customers who pre-ordered, to all the new faces who took the time to come and say hello, every single bit of support has genuinely meant the world ☺️

Not that long ago I was sat wondering whether I’d completely lost the plot with this little business venture… then today people actually turned up because they wanted my bakes 🥹🤍

So thank you for believing in my little dream and supporting my small business. I appreciate every single one of you more than you’ll know. ♥️

You lot said YES… so I’m opening a little W&P pop-up on my driveway this Saturday 😂🫣

Perfect timing for stocking up before the England game too… because football snacks are absolutely a thing and I won’t hear otherwise 🤷‍♀️⚽️

We’ve got stuffed NYC cookies, brownies, cookie pies, s’mores pie, school cake, rocky road and plenty more 🤤

I’m also doing graze picnic boxes! 🧀🍓 These are pre-order only, perfect for this weather or if you want something savoury before eating your body weight in cookie pie 😂

You can pre-order any of the bakes too, or just turn up on Saturday and choose from whatever I’ve got left ☺️

What if I did a little W&P pop-up from my house this Saturday? 👀

A table full of brownies, cookie pies, brookies, rocky road, school cake… basically all the good stuff ready to grab for Saturday night/the England game/just because you want cake 🤷‍♀️😂

I’d open pre-orders so you can guarantee your favourites, with plenty available to just turn up and choose from too ☺️

So before I get carried away and bake enough to feed the whole of Chorley… would you actually come? 😂

Sorry I’ve been a little quiet this week… I’ve been busy learning to make ravioli in Sorrento 😍🇮🇹🧑‍🍳

A very tough week of gnocchi, pasta, pizza, and pretending this definitely counts as professional development for The Whisk & Platter 😂🍝

I’m back tomorrow and will get through any messages I’ve missed as soon as I can 🤍

For now, I’m off to eat my body weight in carbs one last time before Ryanair brings me crashing back down to reality 😅✈️
