Nobody talks about the real reason gluten free bakeries matter.

It’s not cake.

It’s not pastries.

It’s not bread.

It’s spontaneity.

Walking into a bakery and knowing you can choose ANYTHING. Even gluten free summer cheesecake. 🍓

No label reading.
No interrogating staff.
No settling for the one sad packaged option.

Just pointing at the thing you want and saying:

“I’ll have that.”

If you’re coeliac, you’ll know exactly why that feels special.

Thanks so much to everyone who visited the shed and the market today! It was a rough week with the weather and as always you guys show up and keep me busy. Baked Linlithgow has lots of treats if you need a sweet treat over the next couple of weeks. See you on the 17th July!

So the lemon meringue empires are sold out again! But I do have these strawberry lemonade cookies which are filled with a strawberry lemon cream and topped with lemon icing and freeze dried strawberries. 🍓 only available at Stirling Farmers Market Scotland today. Cake shed will only be open if there is surplus from the Market. I’ll update later in the day.
