Mark the wine guy’s back with another WOW of the week (wine of the week…of the week) - Follow Your Dreams from Testalonga wines. High altitude Carignan combines flavours of cherry, fennel, herbs and redcurrant to create something that tastes like Diet Dr Pepper. Served chilled. On the glass while it lasts.

How’s this for British Summertime. Liz and Dot are in town for a few days and their first stop was our place for a glass of wine on the terrace. T spotted them moving their chairs into the alley so they could have a cig and rushed over to set up a private smoking area complete with makeshift barstool table. Couple of glasses in the blazing sun, couple of cigs, and off to the hotel for a kip before hitting the town again. That’s how it’s done.

Walk-ins available on the terrace all afternoon and evening

Nothing says British summertime like a hotdog cooked over fire. And for the full Summer barbecue experience, we’ve even captured the sound of rain dripping off a canopy in the video…

Available now on the small plates menu.
