🏳️‍🌈 PRIDE MONTH 🏳️‍🌈

We get asked a lot why we chose the name "Colliers" and I thought I'd answer the question 😁

Contrary to popular belief, Colliers is not my surname 😅 it's the old name for coal miners. Fife was a prominent coal mining region once upon a time, and this is something many of my customers remember. Our name is a small homage to that.

The other reason for this, is I am an openly gay man (this has never been much of a secret 🌈) I have to respect how integral coal miners were to the gay pride movement. I guess this is my way of honouring that 🥰

So there you have it! The reason we are called Colliers and why pride is an integral part of who we are 🥰

This is a safe space for everyone, Black, White, Gay or Straight, the only thing we discriminate on is your taste in coffee 😉
