We hope to be open mid October, work is well underway on the refurb. We look forward to welcoming customers old and new!

I hope everyone’s safe and well now that things are starting to get back to some kind of normal. Apologies for the lack of updates but I haven’t really known what to write.
I was hopeful of getting back to my little chip shop by the end of April but sadly that hasn’t been possible. Unfortunately circumstances mean that I am no longer in a position to reopen. Sellars 3G Fish Bar is now officially closed 😢.
Thank you to everyone for your support throughout my time at the shop (it was such fun! 😁), but now it’s time to say goodbye to Sellars fish and chips and see what the future brings. 🙏🤗🙏

Hi, hope everyone is safe and well. As Milly is now officially on the shielding list I’m having to put reopening plans on hold again at least until March 31st.
A whole year without crinkle cut chips! 🤦🏻‍♀️
But worth the sacrifice to keep her safe and well.

Hope everyone’s keeping well. Sad to say I’m still not in a position to open back up for yummy crinkle cut chips. Hopefully one day soon but certainly not in the next 4 weeks. 😢

Morning! Quick update- I was hoping to open back up at the start of October but as things have started to ramp up again I’ve had to reconsider. My main priority right now is caring for my daughter so unfortunately we’ll have to wait a bit longer for Sellars 3G crinkle cut chips. 😢 I am keeping a close eye on things and will keep checking in with you to let you know what’s happening. 💖

In business you always weigh up the choices in front of you especially where social media is concerned. You want to keep it relatively light, friendly, inviting and informative. But we cant stay silent when the world we live in makes choices based upon the colour of someones skin.

Our local community is mainly white. Our industry is mainly white. Yet we do not judge a dog by the colour of its fur and we will not judge a person by the colour of their skin.

It is far too easy for us as a business to stay out of this and believe it doesnt impact us but in reality it impacts everyone. Our silence means we become part of the problem.

Even saying this we know it is not enough so we will as a business will strive every single day to be inclusive at all times no matter who you are.
