🍻 A Little Heads Up, Everyone! 🍻

We’ll be closing a little earlier than usual on Monday July 13th at 22:00 and we’ll be closed all day on Tuesday July 14th while we carry out a small upgrade behind the bar.

We’re making a few improvements to help us serve you even better, and we can’t wait to welcome you back once it’s all finished.

Thank you, as always, for your patience, understanding, and continued support. We genuinely appreciate having such a fantastic community around us.

We’ll be back open as normal after the upgrade, ready to pour your favourite drinks and catch up with you all. See you soon! 🤎🍺

Our carvery was on top form this week! 🍽️
The food looked incredible, smelled even better, and it was fantastic to see the restaurant full of happy people enjoying a proper roast together. Great food, great company.

✨ We’re showing the England game tonight! 🍻

A little heads-up for all our lovely foodies…

Our front restaurant and bar area will both be used for seating during the match, so the atmosphere will be a little livelier and louder than usual – but we’re hoping it will be a fantastic community evening with plenty of great support for England!

🍽️ Food will be served as normal from 17:30pm–20:30pm, and while the game is on we’ll also be offering our popular basket meals, which are usually only available on our lunch menu.

Whether you’re joining us to cheer on England, enjoy a meal with friends, or simply soak up the atmosphere, we’d love to see you.

Not everyone can say they mastered the art of almost winning… but somebody has to keep the rest of us humble! Proof that even finishing at the wrong end of the table has its perks, sometimes!

☀️ Just a little check-in from us ☀️

With temperatures set to be a bit extreme over the next few days, we wanted to remind everyone to take care of themselves, their families, their neighbours, and their pets.

Please make sure you’re drinking plenty of water throughout the day, especially if you’re enjoying a few drinks in the sunshine. If you’re joining us for the England game tonight, don’t forget to mix in a glass of water here and there too. Tap water is always free, just ask.

🐾 If you’re bringing your dog along during the cooler parts of the day, we’ll have water bowls available. Please keep pets out of the midday heat where possible and make sure they have plenty of fresh water and shade.

We’ll have all the windows and doors open, and our decking catches a bit of welcome shade at certain points during the day if you’re looking for somewhere to sit and cool off.

Most importantly, if you have an elderly neighbour, a friend who’s on their own, or someone who might be struggling with the heat, please check in with them. Communities look after each other, and that’s exactly what we’re all about.

Whether you’re popping in to watch the football, enjoy a soft drink, have a pint, or simply stop by for a chat, our doors are open.

🌟 Our Menu is Now Fully Up and Running! 🌟

We’re delighted to say that our menu is now fully in function, with a few exciting new additions and changes for you to enjoy.

Some notable mentions include our delicious sea bass, perfectly cooked steaks, and our ever-popular pizzas - alongside all the favourites you know and love.

We’d also like to take a moment to say a huge thank you to everyone for your continued support. Your loyalty, kind words, and regular visits mean so much to us, and we truly appreciate every one of you.

As we move into the lighter evenings and our busiest times shift a little later, our food service hours will be changing slightly to 17:30–20:30.

Sunday Carvery service will now finish at 15:00. We are currently discussing the possibility of introducing an evening Sunday service, and we’ll keep you updated as soon as anything is confirmed.

We’re really pleased to share that our new InPost lockers have now been installed in the car park! 📦🤎

They should be up and running in the next couple of days, bringing a little extra convenience for everyone in our community when it comes to collecting and returning parcels.

It’s always lovely to be able to add services that make life a bit easier for local people, and we’re excited to see them in use. We’ll let you know as soon as they’re live! ✨
