Great news that the single-use plastic ban in hospitality is now in force in England, a step towards protecting the environment from plastic pollution. We thought it would be a good time to remind you that our takeaway cups are recyclable and we have always used bagasse products for our takeaway trays and lids. Bagasse is sugarcane pulp and is a by-product of the sugarcane industry. We have found with the material being both biodegradable and compostable it is the most environmentally friendly option. With this being said, bringing your own clean cup/mug is even better, and with that you’ll get 20p off your drink! Don’t have your own cup? We sell cups. They are made from coffee husk which would otherwise be a waste material and we also think they look pretty slick. Buy one from us and get your first coffee in it for free, then keep bringing it to get your 20p off each time 💚☕️🌿
