It is with deep regret that we announce the closure of Silk Rd Liverpool. We are still open in Heswall, so you can still come and see us there and any vouchers can still be be redeemed
There are many factors attributed to this decision, the pedestrianisation of both Bold Street & Castle Street have took custom away, meaning sales are down, add into this the high energy costs we have had to endure. the increase in both food costs and labour costs, meaning we have just not been able to make the business stack up. We truly thank all of those that have visited us over the 6 years we were there and sincerely hope one day to return to Liverpool, but in a higher footfall area. Thank you again and see you in Heswall

Christmas is the most magical time of the year, and here at Silk Road Liverpool it was anything but magical for our team.
Unfortunately we have lost 80 people in 2 days showed despite paying a deposits did not call to inform us that they would not be attending, or answer the phone when trying to contact.
All hospitality work hard all over the festive period to ensure that everyone that comes though their doors has the best time. So all day our chefs were freshly preparing your orders, our lovely front of staff getting the restaurant ready for a big night; to not call to cancel is really damaging to our business over this busy time. The tables that we turned away these nights due to being fully booked & we could have filled with other people wanting some amazing freshly prepared dishes.
We are posting this not for anyone to feel sorry for us but just to ensure that everyone know show important it is to call and cancel if you do not wish to attend your booking for any restaurant across the world not just us.
So this Christmas we ask you to think about the people working hard in restaurants this year to make sure you have the best time.
