☀️ HEATWAVE UPDATE ☀️

During the current heatwave, Not Mel’s Chippy will be closing at 8PM until temperatures begin to ease.

A lot of people understandably think it cools down later in the evening, but with the fryers and equipment running constantly, the heat inside the shop builds throughout the day and is at its toughest by the busiest evening period.

After being in those temperatures for long hours, an earlier finish will help make things a little more manageable while the hotter weather continues.

Our shredded beef is back on from 4:30pm

Slow cooked shredded beef, rich gravy, and proper comfort food vibes.

Just a little update : due to rising costs 😔, the portion will now be served in a large tray instead of the extra-large trays we previously used.
Still packed out, still proper filling, and still absolutely worth it 👀
