🔑 When one door closes…

Hidden away in the nooks and crannies of Ardtornish are countless small reminders of our rich history.

This morning, while hunting for a pot of paint, our maintenance team made an unexpected discovery: the original key to The Coal Shed Cafe, still attached to its old paper tag marked simply ‘Key of Coal Shed’ 🙌🏼🔑

Finds like this offer a tangible connection to the generations who have lived and worked here, and of the stories woven into every corner of the estate.

Sorry folks, it's getting a bit late in the day and we are still without power so it looks like we'll have to call it.

Back open tomorrow at 9:30am - bright eyed, bushy tailed and with more cakes than you can shake a stick at 🫶

⚠️ Closed Tomorrow a.m. during planned power cut

Due to a scheduled power outage at 9am tomorrow, The Coal Shed Café will be closed while the power is off.

We'll reopen as soon as power is restored (hopefully late lunch-ish) and look forward to seeing you then.
