💛 Tomorrow is one of our favourite days of the year… our Annual Graduation Ceremony!

We can’t believe another year has flown by.

Tomorrow, we’ll be celebrating an incredible group of young people who have worked so hard, grown in confidence, developed new skills, and achieved so much during their journey at Mahaba.

Every certificate tells a story of resilience, determination, courage and progress — and we couldn’t be prouder of every single one of our learners.

We can’t wait to celebrate this special milestone together. 🎓✨

💛 As Learning Disability Week comes to a close, we’re reflecting on just how far Mahaba has come.

What started as a small pilot project three years ago has grown into a programme that has supported 47 young people, delivered 4,000+ hours of training, and helped 60% of graduates seeking employment move into meaningful roles.

But the numbers only tell part of the story.

Mahaba is about creating opportunities, building confidence, amplifying young voices, and showing what becomes possible when people are seen for their potential.

It’s also about community — creating a place where inclusion is part of everyday life, not the exception.

To our learners: thank you for inspiring us every day. 💛

And to everyone who has supported our journey — our funders, partners, employers, customers and community — thank you for believing in a more inclusive future.

💛 This Learning Disability Week, we’re celebrating the opportunities that help our learners grow, gain confidence, and thrive in their communities.

Meet Rathi ✨

Every week, Rathi runs our Healthy Trolley at Ealing Council, serving snacks, drinks and plenty of smiles along the way.

But this project is about much more than food and drinks.

It’s about building more confidence, developing workplace skills, and making inclusion visible in the places where decisions are made.

We’re incredibly proud of everything Rathi has achieved and grateful to our partners at Ealing Council for helping create opportunities that turn potential into action.

A special thank you to Peter Mason, Chrissy Leonard, Charlene McLeod and Ellen Bloomer for their support, and to Kate, whose dedication behind the scenes helps make this project possible every single week 💛

🎥 Our recent Young Advisory Board session was such a joy! 💛

Our learners may spend a lot of time cooking in the kitchen, but they’re also busy cooking up ideas, sharing perspectives, and helping shape the future of Mahaba.

Every time we come together, we’re reminded just how valuable their insights are. Their unique experiences challenge us to think differently, see things from new angles, and build a more inclusive community for everyone.

We can’t wait to share some of the amazing ideas and outcomes from this latest session over the coming months ✨

And speaking of exciting things… tonight is our Comedy Night! 🎭

We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone for an evening of laughter, community, and support. Our learners have been part of making it all happen and can’t wait to see you there!
