This WAS Part of the Menu - But Season Very Over..
Tulips could be considered ‘famine food’ with a very niche culinary use today, but petals are crisp, sweet, and cucumber-like, commonly used in salads, while bulbs have an onion-like flavor but must have their bitter core removed.

Only consume organic, untreated bulbs, as the more common commercial tulips are heavily sprayed with pesticides.
Please don’t eat your Tesco Tulips.
