The Ivy House Presents another incredible show here on Friday August 28th, where we’ll be joined by Kiran Leonard, Jennifer Walton and Another Country $$$$ a week before they all head to Dorset to play 2026.

Kiran Leonard’s unique and ambitious body of work spans more than a decade of frenetic noise rock, ornate avant-folk, DIY no-fi, and everything in between. Renowned for the range and intensity of his live performances, his current live group features members of caroline and Shovel Dance Collective.

Jennifer Walton is a London-based musician whose debut album Daughters explores grief, memory and surreal Americana. She’s also known for her work with Cryalot, Microplastics, Iceboy Violet, BABii, and remixes for Metronomy.

Another Country $$$$ are a Manchester-based audio-visual duo, born through the city’s experimental dance underbelly- combining shape-shifting electronic production, live drums and visuals. They craft blistering hybrid sets that fuse dub, jungle, DnB, garage, noise and hyperpop with a haunting cinematic edge.

Will be a movie.

Bend It Like Beckham remains a defining portrait of turn-of-the-millennium Britain, where football, friendship and cultural expectation collide. Through the story of Jess, a British-Indian teenager determined to play the game she loves, the film captures the complexities of belonging with warmth, humour and remarkable ease. Long before conversations around representation became mainstream, it offered a nuanced vision of multicultural youth culture—one that still resonates across generations of fans, athletes and dreamers.

Join us at The Ivy House on Thursday 9th July for a free screening of the film, presented by deepermovies. Free tickets available on DICE.

05/06/2026

Stoked to announce a truly mega show here on Friday August 14th, where we’ll be joined by Iona Zajac, Dorothy and Marsy - a week before they all head to the Welsh valleys to perform at Green Man Festival. Tickets are on sale now via .now or Dice.

There’s an unwavering resilience coursing through Bang, the masterful debut album from Iona Zajac. This is evident in the Scottish singer-songwriter’s astute articulations of the anger she felt whilst reflecting on personal and global experiences centred on the abuse of women: “Ask her, ask us all,” she intones in the atmospheric opener, ‘Bowls’. From there, Zajac confronts the emotional impact of toxic relationships and emerges with a renewed sense of worth which abounds. As well as untangling trauma, Bang is an exhilarating celebration of womanhood steered by the enduring influence of Maya Angelou and Emily Dickinson as Zajac delivers an unfiltered portrait of strength. Visceral in its message and delivery, Bang is an essential body of work that not only introduces audiences to Iona Zajac’s commanding voice, but provides a collective expression for women with shared experiences.

Dorothy comprises Jude Woodhead (aka Saint Jude), Marco Pini (of GG Skips, Sorry, RIP Magic), and Francesca Brierley (aka heka).

Marsy are an indie-folk and rock band whose debut EP, Magic, was recently released through Heavenly Recordings. Featuring Hannah & Luke Rodgers, Reuben Kyriakides, Lucy Rushton and Sean Harper, the band blend folk melodies with timeless songwriting and memorable hooks.
