Introducing Frank the Dank…
A collaboration between us here at Mikkeller Brewpub London and our good friends from Warpigs, to celebrate their launch in the UK. Let me tell you, it’s about as much a Warpigs beer as you could get outside of the iconic Meatpacking District.
We’ve taken the Warpigs base NEPA recipe from their iconic ‘Frank The Dank’, using a reduced amount of wheat and oats, plus the addition of spelt malt, for a nutty and bready base. A supremely hefty whirlpool with T90 and Cryo addition and a sprinkling of bittering hops, gives this beer a proper distinct DANKNESS compared to the hazies we are used to producing. This means this beer in punch and extremely drinkable.
Frank the Dank will be having its launch tomorrow at Mikkeller Bar London on Hackney Road, alongside a 10 line tap takeover from Warpigs.
From there, it’ll be exclusively available at both our Mikkeller London sites.
Honestly, pretty epic.
