Local Collective Hackney popped-up in Spring 2020, when the strange times that we’re all facing inspired us to think outside the box. We wanted to support our local community and help get fresh, wholesome essentials to doors hassle-free – so we created an affordable and local fruit & vegg

ie hamper, packed with some our favorite foodie goodness from in and around East London. Keeping it local is now more important than ever. We supply a range of food boxes containing fresh produce and other essentials from Hackney and the surrounding neighbourhoods – carefully hand-selecting items for quality and value. Buying a Local Collective box is the perfect way to get a slice of Hackney straight to your doorstep – with an affordable price, minimal packaging, and safe delivery. Our fruit and veg comes from New Spitalfields Market in Hackney, freshly baked bread from the Akdeniz and Spence Bakeries in the heart of Stoke Newington, and free range eggs direct from ‘Taste of the West’ winning Fenton Farm. With other goodies like Chegworth Valley fruit juice, plump deli olives, and freshly ground coffee from Nude Espresso in Shoreditch – for those much needed little pick-me-ups. Oh, and delivery is completely free!

What a year! We're finally at the end of 2020 and reflecting on this crazy year – a year that inspired us to create this whole veggie box business-thing. And we couldn't be happier we did!

Local Collective first popped-up in Spring 2020, when the strange times that we all found ourselves in inspired us to think outside the box. So we created a veggie box!

Our aim has always been to support our local community and help get fresh, wholesome essentials to doors hassle-free at an affordable rate. And this year has proved keeping it local is more important than ever; so our hampers are always packed with local fruit, veggie, and foodie goodness from around East London.

Thank you to all our great customers who have supported and bought from us this year. We're here for you, and we couldn't do it without you – the clue's in the name...

We adore a great sweet potato! But did you know, unlike regular potatoes, sweet pots are actually roots, and they can be enjoyed in many ways including baked, steamed, boiled, mashed, microwaved or even raw!

Oh and you don't need to peel! When eaten with the skin on, sweet potatoes are an excellent source of fibre. You can't go wrong!
