BIG LOBSTER NEWS! 🦞

Following our wonderful World Ocean 🌊 Day lunch last week, where we broke bread with likeminded restaurants and a bunch of our amazing suppliers we can now announce….

… this year the shoreline community project we will be supporting with donations@taken from our filtered water and events will be padstowlobster. Nicola and the team do incredible work nurturing and releasing lobsters back into Cornish waters. Everyone at the lunch adopted their own lobster and it’s fascinating to see how they are bred and released back into the wild.

Beer lovers! 🌊🍻 There’s just something about the coast that makes beer special. Some people think that a 'propr' restaurant doesn't do good beer! Well we do, draught and all! And it all comes from cracking coastal breweries!

Take Adnams Brewery, for example β€” they blend generations of brewing know-how with a serious love for sustainability. Then we’ve got St Austell and Sharp's Breweries, where the gorgeous Cornish coast inspires every single sip.

Exciting new players like Verdant Brewing Co. and Harbour Brewing Co. are bringing fresh, hop-heavy flavors to the scene, while UnBarred Brewery adds a fun city-coast twist to the mix.

On the eastern side, Duration Brewing is all about that laid-back farmhouse vibe, and Isle of Skye Brewing Company totally captures the wild spirit of its island home.

Different styles, but one shared belief: your surroundings should shape what you create. At Faber, we totally get that connection! Cheers to local brews! 🍻

Yesterday was awesome!

Our annual World Ocean Day showcase lunch is one of my favourite days of the year. We get a room full of restaurant people and get them to meet our incredible producers and gatherers.

The room was full, the food and drink was epic!

Big thank you to our guest speakers











All made the day fun but also full of valuable info! We all also got to adopt a lobster, a popular highlight, thanks Nicola!

And thank you for the endless support
