It was a dream coming true to hike the Big Snow Mountain and visit the oldest tea tree in Mengku Big Snow Mountain: the No. 1 Ancient Tea Tree (勐库大雪山1号古茶树). It is a wild ancient tea tree academicly estimated to be 2,700 years old. It grows at an altitude of 2,720 meters (approx. 8,924 feet). Experts consider this tree and the surrounding 12,000-acre forest to be one of the world's centers of tea tree origin and the highest-altitude, largest, and most densely populated wild ancient tea tree community ever discovered.

I haven't posted anything here for a long time because I have being enjoying myself hiking many miles through high altitude, mist shrouded, ancient tea tree mountains serenaded by bird song, eating wonderful food and of course drinking the best tea Mr. Liu has been collected over 2 decades and created his brand "Qian Ou Xue".
