A World Cup night at The Leather Exchange… 😅

Opened at 2pm. First customer through the door at 9.30pm. Second at 10pm.

Then a few lovely folk popped their heads in around midnight asking if we were showing the England game at 1am — and telling me what a beautiful pub it is. 🤦‍♂️

Here’s the thing: we’re a small local in the heart of SE1. To open through the night I need to know who’s coming — for staffing, for safety, the lot. All I asked was a quick booking so I could put a proper matchday on.

So I watched England on my own. 🍺
