Cheese & Peppers City cafe is a bustling, cosy, friendly cafe in the heart of the City of London near Monument tube station. We have been taking care of hungry City workers and visitors in the Square Mile for 30 years. We are a privately owned independent eatery. A large range of hot and cold breakfast and lunch dishes are on offer. Bacon rolls and Full English Breakfasts are very popular, as are
made-to-order cold and hot sandwiches, Baps and Panini. If hot food is your fancy you will enjoy our range of jacket potatoes, Chilli con Carne, curry, and hearty home-made pasta dishes. Every morning we make a lot of toast! We serve it just the way you like it: hot with honey, Marmite, jams, peanut butter, Bovril… or just butter. Service is fast and furious! Regulars are familiar with the chat and banter – it’s part of our unique service. At times our attitude is brusque while we serve our fast-moving queue. So be ready to shout out your order when you hear our familiar call – ‘next please’! Our policy is to over feed customers as best we can – and why almost everything we offer is served in ‘generous’ sized portions. We can pack what you cannot finish so you can take it away for later.
