Due to a film shoot and our staff summer party, the cafe and gardens will be closed between 1pm & 2pm and then from 4pm onwards tomorrow ☀️

Beautiful bold colours and organic shapes by abstract artist are adorning the cafe walls this month!

Julika’s work, rooted in introspection, examines the essence of living and the dualities of life. Her approach to creating art is intrinsic to these themes, where surfaces are built layer on layer, much like the experiences that shape us as human beings.

CBC is now open throughout the day which means you can catch this brilliant exhibition seven days a week!

Our opening times are
Monday to Friday: 8am to 6pm
Saturday: 8am to 5pm
Sunday: 8am to 4pm

📣 We’ve had a last minute cancellation for our Community Art Gallery in August. Are you a local artist interested in exhibiting?

The longstanding Community Art Gallery at CBC was set up to offer local established artists a risk-free platform to share their work, ideas and creativity 🤩

Here’s some information:

🖼️ Exhibitions are roughly one calendar month
🎨 Work can be hung on two large walls in our sunny, bright café space
⭐️ We welcome a range of mediums but work must be wall hung and suitable for family audiences
ℹ️ We don’t take commission but also do not manage exhibitions - all bios and contact details should be professionally displayed and artists deal directly with buyers
😎 All work should be framed if on paper
🍸 Private Views available on Wednesdays at 7.30-9.30pm (at a cost)
🌊 We’re open throughout the day in August
