CARIBBEAN CHRISTMAS CAKES (they need at least a month to bathe in rum and get all happy)....

MINCEMEAT (also needs time to do its thang... I like to make it with bramley apples & quinces in the mix)...

MANGO & SCOTCH BONNET ROCKET HOT SAUCE 🔥

SPICED RED CABBAGE & BEETROOT PICKLES

POMEGRANATE KETCHUP MIGHT EVEN MAKE AN APPEARANCE FOR THE FIRST TIME IN ABOUT 7 YEAR!!! (If you know, you know!)

DECEMBER IS GOING TO BE 100% DELICIOUS PEOPLES!

DID YOU KNOW....we bake all our signature milk buns fresh, every Saturday morning for our brunch service?

this week the buns were spiked with roasted white sweet potato.

The sweet potato is roasted whole then whizzed up (skin n'all) with a bit of brown sugar & water to make a rich sweet & toasty puree. Kneaded together with flour, milk, yeast, salt and oil to make our soft fluffy buns.

The yeast loves the starchy nutrient rich potato so has a lovely time rising.

The result is squishy & delicious with a brownish crumb from the roasted skins.

WINNER 🏆

pop down & see us this Saturday for BRUNCH and have a taste of our hand made buns.
