We had a lovely group of ladies in yesterday for a final hen party ahead of an August wedding; we made them traditional finger sandwiches, freshly baked raspberry cupcakes, Victoria sandwich, and scones with jam and clotted cream.

We also made a gluten-free afternoon tea for one guest which included finger sandwiches, Victoria sandwich, and chocolate cupcakes

Today one of our youngest customers, just 6 weeks old, enjoyed afternoon tea (admittedly the baby slept through it!)

When in Wimbledon… 🎾

We made some tennis-themed cupcakes and included some in our Wimbledon afternoon tea boxes, along with elderflower drizzle, handmade scones with jam and clotted cream, fresh strawberries and, of course, finger sandwiches

We’re back for Day 2 of the big screen in Wandle Park watching Wimbledon while serving up lots of cold drinks, homemade cakes, cream teas, and fresh strawberries 🍓

If you haven’t tried our homemade ice tea yet (mango & passion fruit or sweet rhubarb) you’re definitely missing out!

We always love being given vintage tea sets but this one really did bring some extra excitement - do you remember watching Charles and Diana get married? And did you enjoy a tea party that day?

This weekend we have the customer favourite, Victoria sandwich, lemon cupcakes, salted caramel cupcakes, and fruit scones - all homemade in our little shop at Merton Abbey Mills. We think you really can taste the difference when baked on site!

We will also have freshly-made sandwiches and salads, sausage rolls (baked on site), and for this week only pear and raspberry trifle 🍐 🍓

And our iced tea is brewing as we speak - we hope to see you there!

The weather wasn’t great at the weekend, but we were able to warm up some people with a nice pot of tea and a scone!

We had a lovely time at yesterday’s Twilight Tea with some fantastic guests who enjoyed both traditional and vegetarian afternoon tea with raspberry cupcakes decorated with nature 🌺 And of course £5 from each ticket will go to our friends at Walk The Walk
