We turned 7 on Monday!!! Woohoo to us. And by us, we mean the 33 people that keep this company moving; from our chaiwalas who brew the finest chai in London, to our marketing and socials team that talk about it & more, to the operations team that keep thing running and problems at bay. We were so wrapped up in running the business, that we forgot to reflect on our birthday!

But it’s fitting to be celebrating today because it is also International Tea Day. Chai is one of the most consumed drinks in the world and yet one of the most misunderstood outside of South Asia. That gap is what we have been working to close.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way. We are nothing without you and our second flush CTC BOP black tea. 🙏😇💛

Iced drinks are making a comeback!

The current lineup:

Iced Kashmiri - Our one hour steeped green tea pink chai, sweetened with coconut sugar and poured over ice.

Filter coffee - 85% arabica 15% chicory root blend of slowly steeped coffee served over ice.

Both available at all locations with your choice of milk.

Our full selection of iced drinks will be dropping in April.

A small heads up: Hot Kashmiri will be taken off the menu from 1st April. If you’ve been meaning to have a cup, this is the time before it comes back again in winter.

This Ramadan, we’re keeping the Bakehouse open till late for those breaking their fast and gathering after Iftar. Sit a little longer and spend time together over chai.

We’re also introducing a weekend special: Masala Dates Fudge
Dates cooked slowly in our masala chai, folded with cashew, almond and pistachio. A gentle hit of cardamom and pepper, finished with roasted nuts, rose petals and green pistachios.
Served from 12pm onward until 10pm.

It’s incredibly exciting to see chai gaining wider recognition, with more people actively seeking it out, and receiving the attention it deserves.
