f a hand-picked range of fabulous live bands from near and far. An independent pub, The Bread & Roses is proud to have been successfully defending and campaigning for workers' rights for decades.

Thursday 4 June - Audrey’s Dance: South West London five-piece bringing new wave, post-punk and indie covers with a cinematic edge and high energy live set.

Friday 5 June - Temple Rose & HotMotel: gritty South London rock with huge vocals, heavy riffs and serious punk pedigree built for a loud night.

Saturday 6 June - Rocking R&B, funky soul legends bringing groove heavy, dancefloor ready sounds all night long. Come down, bring your dancing shoes, and boogie like you mean it.

Temple Rose & HotMotel hit the Bread & Roses with a set of gritty, South London born rock and swaggering alt songs.

Built by a trio with serious pedigree, Greg Horton (drums, ex-The Plague), Steve Slack (bass, ex-UK Subs), and Steve Halliwell (guitar, ex-Shriekback), the band started as a raw, high energy power trio from Brixton Hill studios.

Rose Head’s arrival flipped everything. With a huge, commanding voice and frontwoman presence, she pushed the songs into sharper, more anthemic territory.
