Stride into The Shed and you will find a colourful hub of flavours, flair cooking and fun. The brother duo, Oliver and Richard Gladwin, have created a restaurant that is an extension of their rural lifestyle back in Nutbourne, West Sussex. Growing, foraging, great cooking and great company have always been the order of the day and this ethos has been brought to life at The Shed. They have put toge

ther a fantastic daily-changing menu of Sussex produce sourced from their youngest brother (whose roots are firmly planted in Nutbourne as a farmer) and other local suppliers. Small plates of Oliver's flair cookery star on the menu - sticky spatchcock quail, mouthfuls of mackerel sashimi, rabbit ravioli...the list goes on. Come in for a glass of Sussex Reserve and a mouthful of charcuterie whilst perching at the tractor bonnet bar, or order a few small plates for your barrel table. On weekend nights listen out for the bell - this means the "theatre joint" is about to be paraded through the restaurant and portions of the delicious dish of the day are about to go on sale! Celebrations of all sorts can be booked at The Butcher's table and the Gladwins will listen to your story to create a set feasting menu that is personally sourced to please you. Reservations and walk-ins are welcome at The Shed, so long as you're ready to roll up your sleeves, jump on the combine harvester and get stuck into some hardy eating, drinking and memory making.

Day boat po***ck, Hampshire cured trout, wild mushroom risotto and Sussex lamb, all built around the best seasonal produce we can source this week.

Available Tuesday–Friday for lunch.

This week’s Farm to Fork menu has landed 🌿

A few lovely spring things on there this week - Sussex tomatoes, lamb, Tangmere peppers, fresh herbs, local produce and all the good stuff that’s tasting best right now.

Served Tuesday to Friday, designed to fit into a lunch break if needed - 2 courses for £24 or 3 for £28. Menu changes every week depending on what’s coming in fresh and what’s in season across the UK.

Come by for a glass of wine and something delicious at lunchtime 🍷

Well… this is exciting 🦪🍷

Our seafood platter for two has officially arrived at The Shed!

We’ve been working on this one for a while - scallop ceviche, oysters, hand-picked crab, mussels, langoustines & octopus, all sustainably sourced from around the British coast, served with a bottle of Nutbourne Pinot Gris from our family vineyard in West Sussex.

Basically an excuse to spend your entire afternoon on the terrace.

Seasonal British produce, a few bits from our family farm, and ingredients from suppliers we’ve known and trusted for years.

We change it every week, so it keeps up with what’s coming in fresh and tasting its best.

Midweek, it’s £24 for two courses or £28 for three, and if you’re popping in on your lunch break, we’ll have you sorted in under an hour.
