It's heartbreaking to see so many fantastic independent businesses forced to close for good. They don't just provide services; they create vital local jobs and keep our communities alive. But they cannot survive without change.

Dear Customers,

Times are tough. Despite being busy, rising taxes and running costs are making it a struggle to stay operational. To ensure Ballucci survives, we had to made some difficult changes:

We’ve reduced staff on shifts and paused recruitment. Please bear with us if service might take a little longer.

We are revising all of our products and suppliers to see where we can cut costs, so you might see some product changes over the coming months.

We have reduced the opening hours to our Bar and Brunch service in Hounslow. Please check Google for the latest updates.

While the media often highlights the struggles pubs are facing, the reality is that most businesses, especially in hospitality, are fighting the same battle. We are in talks with our local MP, Ruth Cadbury about these tax burdens, but until the structure changes, we simply cannot grow or hire any additional staff.

We will do whatever it takes to keep the doors open and our staff employed, however challenging it may be. We hope to be part of the community for many years to come. Thank you for your continuous support and understanding ❤️

Many small businesses in the hospitality sector are genuinely struggling to keep their doors open and prices low for the consumer. Unfortunately with more and more tax rises, we are unable to do that. Many businesses have to close down and others have to raise prices to survive. If you own a small business in the hospitality sector or enjoy visiting your local bar, restaurant or cafe, please consider signing and sharing this petition.

Across the UK, our cafes, pubs and restaurants are more than just businesses. They are the beating heart of our communities, the places where we celebrate milestones, share a quiet pint or coffee with a friend and create lifelong memories. And they're struggling to stay afloat.
