This time, we’ve been helping tidy up the garden at Age UK Enfield.

The new Mabel Churn Centre is an importance space where the team hosts activities for the local community

After a mass de-weeding and tidy up – the garden is looking spacious, welcoming, and BBQ ready! 🔥

We had a brilliant evening at the Thai Embassy in London this week, listening to John Chantarasak – Chef-Patron and Co-Founder of Michelin-starred Anglo Thai – share the story behind his restaurant's extraordinary success 🇹🇭

What struck us most wasn't the Michelin star itself — it was everything that came before it.

Years of finding an identity, refining a vision, and building a team culture where people are genuinely happy to come to work.

"It's about finding your voice and staying true to your vision in a world that rewards conformity."

He also spoke honestly about the pressures facing hospitality right now – rising costs, closures, and the urgent need for VAT reform.

His response? Keep going, keep adapting, and stay as accessible as you can. Anglo Thai's fine dining lunch is still £60 a head.

A really inspiring talk, and a great reminder of why we love being part of the food community. A huge thank you to the Association for Thai Businesses in the UK for organising such a great talk 🙏
