If you turn up at The Anchor at the crack of dawn on Friday and find a load of BBC equipment instead of your usual brew... don't panic! 😂

BBC Radio Leicester are taking over the pub for the Breakfast Show, broadcasting LIVE from 6am until 10am.

As a result, we'll be opening a little later than normal while we try not to trip over cables or accidentally become radio stars.

And if you hear a familiar voice talking about Hathern and The Anchor, you'll know where they are!

The roasts are on!

You lovely lot have been absolutely loving our Friday night family-style platters, so we thought... why not do the same for Sunday lunch?

Our Family Sunday Roast Platter is available today, perfect for sharing with family and friends and with all the choices no decision making nessesary.

A quick apology for the poster... yes, I used ChatGPT to make it! It was deffo much quicker than me attempting to design one myself.

Why not dine al fresco in the garden and pretend you've escaped to the Mediterranean? (Sadly we can't provide the sea, but we can definitely sort the roast!)

Our normal menu is also available today.

And before anyone asks... no, there isn't a Sunday Dinner Pizza. The staff staged what can only be described as a full-scale mutiny when I suggested it. I genuinely have no idea why... I still think roast potatoes and gravy on a pizza - genius! 😂

Not the sharpest picture but these flyers should be dropping round the village soon.

Due to liscencing restrictions (you need a liscence for everything!) We can't announce on social media what the film is going to be, it will be family friendly and it will be awesome - nip in and ask.
