Ye Olde Whyte Swanne Louth Town CAMRA pub of the year 2024!! The oldest pub in Louth serving traditional home cooked food!

Our comfortable bar is the ideal place to enjoy a selection of cask ales, craft beers, lagers and continental bottle beer for something a little bit different. We sell a wide range of wines, prosecco and champaign available by the bottle or glass so for that special occasion give us a call. We also have a relaxing lounge to the rear of the pub where you can enjoy a drink, a bite to eat or just rel

ax with friends. All our meals are homemade and locally sourced where possible. We have a wide range of dishes from traditional pub food, Sunday roasts and a Specials Board. You can also enjoy al-fresco drinking and dining in our large South facing beer garden, a perfect sun trap. The Ye Olde Whyte Swanne is known for being the oldest pub in Louth, established in 1612 and there are rumours that the pub may well be haunted!

🍻 Well… this REALLY is it! 🍻
We know we've announced our farewell more times than Take That have had comeback tours 😆, but this time it's the real deal!
At 10:30pm on Sunday 12th July, Dawn and I will be calling last orders for the final time and closing the doors of Ye Olde Whyte Swanne as landlords.
The pub will then take a short breather before reopening on Wednesday 15th July under the stewardship of its new tenants, Tay and Reagan.
A huge thank you goes to our fantastic staff, who have kept the Swanne running while we've been away, and an even bigger thank you to all of you wonderful customers, friends, and supporters who have laughed with us, celebrated with us, and helped make so many great memories over the years.
Please continue to support the pub and give Tay and Reagan the same warm welcome you've always shown us. We wish them every success and hope they enjoy this adventure as much as we have.
