It is with a heavy heart after 8 wonderful years, we will be closing the doors of the Old Ship on Monday 11th May.
We had hoped the transition for a new tenant would be a smooth one with no closure, but unfortunately this is not going to be the case.
The new tenant who has managed the pub recently, has pulled out at the very last minute leaving an awful mess both financially & logistically thus leaving no opportunity to find a new landlord in time.
We hope Stonegate pub company stop their messing around and ridiculous rent fees and find a new tenant soon.
We would like to thank each and everyone who has been a part of the Ship, customers old & new, all the staff, suppliers and friends, you have all made it the wonderful place it is!
Your support of the years has been very much appreciated.
