Heritage Coffee Shop Located in the beautiful setting of the Dean Heritage Centre, we offer tasty food and great coffee.☕ We also have seating inside if you prefer.

Our coffee shop is open to everyone, not just to people who visit the museum. So why not come along, sit outside on the balcony, enjoy some food/beverage and look out over our pond. You may be lucky enough to spot our resident Heron or Kingfisher. Our food is prepared from fresh so please bear with us at busy times. We have homemade food, like soups, quiche, pie and our well known cheese scones

Food is served 10am till 2pm daily.

Tuesday-Thursday, we are open from 9:00-16:00, food served until 14:00.

Far Open Exhibition - 27th of June until 12th of July

Every July, farOpen brings the Forest of Dean and the rivers Severn & Wye to life with the popular Open Studios Art Trail. FarOpen - (Forest and Rivers Open) - is a volunteer, artist-led network to showcase and support the artists in the community.
Established in 2017, the number of artist members has grown phenomenally.

In 2026, the organisation represents 182 members with 55 studios open for visitors on its Art Trail in July. Additional group exhibitions for members are held at different local venues.

Visitors are invited to explore, meet the makers, and witness art in progress.
