Did you know?
In 2010, the gastronomic meal of the French was inscribed on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity!

A customary social practice, it is a festive meal bringing people together for an occasion to enjoy the art of good eating and drinking.
It should begin with an apéritif (drinks before the meal) and end with liqueurs, containing in between at least four successive courses: a starter, fish and/or meat with vegetables, cheese and dessert… and the pairing of food with wine!

If you are interested in French gastronomy in the UK, we are delighted to invite you to an online discussion with two exceptional guests: Prof. Debra Kelly from the University of Westminster and UK-based French Chef Olivier Troalen.
It will be held in English on Tuesday 16 Nov.

1. Pan fried Scottish King scallops & King prawn tails, sweet onion compote, home roasted sun dried cherry tomatoes
flavoured with basil, French croutons & a garlic & saffron rouille, with a harissa butter

2. Medallions of Monkfish tail pan fried, roasted pineapple & pak choi, accompanied by a Thai sauce

3. Carpaccio of Beef Fillet with horseradish tofu, a parmesan tuile, shallot rings, pickled vegetables, game chips & a rocket salad

4. French duck breast & a bread crumb duck bonbon, with an aromatic carrot puree, pomme Anna potatoes & stem broccoli, finished with a caramelised red onion & Sloe gin sauce

Just a little update for you.

It’s the last couple of weeks of our takeaway service that will end Sunday 2nd May. See our current menu and you can contact us anytime on 01925 753657 to order or reserve your collection time slot.



We are still hopeful that we can proceed to re-open in house dining from 17th May but understandably we still have to be patient a little longer for confirmation.

In the meantime, let’s hope for good weather and for us all to enjoy outdoor get togethers.
