Dear Residents and Friends of St Dunstan,
To help strengthen our wonderful community spirit, the St Dunstan Committee is delighted to launch a fun new annual summer event for the village.
This year, we are inviting residents to create a bear-themed scene outside their home as part of a Summer Bear Hunt for local children and families to enjoy. Each display should include a creative title featuring a bear-inspired name — for example, “Bear Grylls” with a bear enjoying a BBQ. We would love to see as many imaginative and entertaining ideas as possible.
Families from both within and beyond the village will be able to stroll around Langley during the summer, spot the different bear scenes, and take part in the hunt, with prizes to be won.
Residents in Langley should have received a flyer through their letterbox. If you have not received one, extra copies are available at the St Dunstan Inn and or reply to this email with the information shown on the flyers attached.
The entry fee is £5 per household, which will help cover the costs of running the event.
To make this a truly memorable occasion, we would love to see as many residents as possible taking part. Let’s come together to turn our village into a fun and family-friendly Bear Hunt trail over the summer holidays, giving our younger generations a chance to enjoy the outdoors and celebrate the creativity of our community.
