I'm thinking of doing a Pizza Night at The Seafront 🍕

🌆 It would be an evening, probably a day at the weekend once the cafe is closed.

🍕 ​It would be pre order (timeslots) only, so we know how much of what to buy and so we don't keep you waiting.

☕ There would be the option of sitting in, coffees and cakes will still also be available

The lovely Laura at Bumble and Brae - Gardenstown Cafe has offered to give me a hand ❤️ her pizzas are amazing and she said we should try it at The Seafront too 😊

My mother is sick of the sight of me, 2 extra days mithering her isn't good for either of us 🤣

Sorry guys after not feeling great over the last few days, I've found out today, I've got a viral infection so on doctors advice, I'm going to close tomorrow.

You'll be happy to know, I made raspberry muffins this morning and I remembered to put the correct amount of flour in 🤣

Today is our Harbour Man, George's, 70th birthday (🤫).
Obviously we had to do something a little different here.....
A bacon roll with a candle was definitely a must 🤣
A few balloons and a banner also had to be included
(I wanted to decorate his car but he'd have seen me lurking on the harbour 🤣)

This morning, I decided to make some blueberry muffins.... I thought the batter looked a bit thinner than normal but went with it! Then just as the timer was about to go off, I suddenly realised I'd only added half the amount of flour 🤣

I gave some away, then was about to bin the rest when Laura from Bumble and Brae - Gardenstown Cafe stepped in and came up with blueberry muffin "bread and butter pudding"... I sliced up the very small muffins, shoved them in a tin with some lemon zest, poured on some custard, taking on every instruction from Laura, taking it out for her to inspect, make sure it was right 🤣 and voila, the tastiest dessert!

It didn't make it for sale, we obviously had to "taste test" first 🐷🤣
