This morning, I decided to make some blueberry muffins.... I thought the batter looked a bit thinner than normal but went with it! Then just as the timer was about to go off, I suddenly realised I'd only added half the amount of flour 🤣

I gave some away, then was about to bin the rest when Laura from Bumble and Brae - Gardenstown Cafe stepped in and came up with blueberry muffin "bread and butter pudding"... I sliced up the very small muffins, shoved them in a tin with some lemon zest, poured on some custard, taking on every instruction from Laura, taking it out for her to inspect, make sure it was right 🤣 and voila, the tastiest dessert!

It didn't make it for sale, we obviously had to "taste test" first 🐷🤣

**BUSINESS SHOUT OUT**

LM Appliances.

I had our dishwasher "repaired" a few times with another company. The "repairs" seemed to bring other problems and at one point, the dishwasher started leaking really badly, we couldn't use it.
The guy came to have a look (AGAIN) then said he needed to order a part, said he couldn't make it that week when I messaged him... Then he just disappeared, stopped messaging me, just left us with a broken dishwasher 🤔

Liam came along, took every screw out, took every plate off, had a good look, noticed that the expensive detergent I buy was leaking and accumulating at the front of the machine 😭 noticed other problems which I've paid to have repaired previously 😡
He put it back together, then took it away to his workshop to have a look.

They kept me informed every step of the way, told me what was happening and when parts would arrive.

Liam returned the dishwasher, fixed, thoroughly checked over and he'd managed to save the part which would've cost me a fortune! It's difficult for small businesses right now so saving money does really help and new dishwashers aren't cheap!!

I can't thank these guys enough. Liam and his team are brilliant. If you've got a problem with an appliance, whether it be business or home, give them a shout.

TODAY! Leaving Macduff Harbour at 10:30am, with stops at Boyndie, Portsoy, Cullen and Findochty, before the finish line at Buckie at 3pm. A grand day out!

Mum and I went down to Bumble and Brae - Gardenstown Cafe this evening for their pizza night. Honestly, the nicest pizza I've had in a long time.

This place is definitely worth a visit if you're in the village ❤️

Today was our busiest day of the year!
Thank you to each and everyone of you for stopping by for breakfast, lunch or just a cuppa, it really means so much to us ❤️

I won't lie, I eventually came home and demolished a Chinese 🐷🤣 I feel it was deserved 😂

We're now off for two days, back Wednesday 9am-3pm ☕ 🍰
