We warmly congratulate Dave on his appointment and wish him every success in this important role. This marks an exciting step forward for the programme and for the local communities it is designed to serve.
Fusion Maidstone is a community-focused charity and Healthy Living Centre based in Park Wood. Our mission is to reduce health inequalities, improve wellbeing and strengthen community connections. Through a wide range of services, including drop-in support, social programmes, youth and family activities, community events and accessible facilities, we provide a safe, welcoming and inclusive hub for local people. Everything we do is shaped by the needs, aspirations and strengths of the communities we serve.
The aims and objectives of the Pride in Place programme closely align with Fusion’s commitment to creating healthier, stronger and more connected communities, and we are excited about the opportunities this investment presents for residents across Park Wood, Senacre and Shepway. The success of Pride in Place depends on residents being at the heart of the decision-making process, and we strongly encourage people from across Park Wood, Senacre and Shepway to get involved by applying to join the Neighbourhood Board that Dave will now lead in establishing.
